Abstract The long stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic implied that most people had to perform all their daily activities home. That raised need for special features related health, safety, and well-being of residents. This study aimed explore essential design measure perception importance by Cairenes (Egypt) construction industry experts further implementation in future as part buyers’ preferences house quality features. employed an exploratory survey, identifying eight features, followed a quantitative questionnaire each feature among stakeholders. results showed indicators were certain degree importance. It was found availability natural ventilation light private outdoor space, such terrace with good-looking view or garden, least one bedroom enclosed bathroom isolation needs. In contrast, extra storage space food supplies, well indoor family entertainment reported important.
